NAIMOS TaskForce conducts Deliberate Night Raid/Attack on a Notorious Galamsey Site at Armouri in Aowin Municipality of the Western North Region. TaskForce apprehends 7 illegal miners, and set ablaze several Makeshift Structured, including a Shrine controlled by one of the illegal miners. Items seized during the operation include 2 Pump Action Guns and 33 Cartridges.

NAIMOS busts armed thugs parading as Anti-Galamsey task force in the Nyankamam-Armori forest of Aowin Municipality in the Western North Region. The 10 armed thugs who claim to have links with the Aowin Paramount Chief are said to operate with impunity and extort monies from Galamseyers, thereby emboldening illegal mining activities in the Aowin municipality. Mentioned Thugs have since been arrested with their weapons and talismans by the NAIMOS TaskForce and would be handed over to Ghana Police Service.
