Welcome to the official website of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources (MLNR). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the www.mlnr.gov.gh website and any related services provided by MLNR. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website.

  1. Acceptance of Terms:
    By using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.
  2. Purpose of the Website:
    The MLNR website serves as an official platform to provide information about the Ministry’s mandate, goals, mission, vision, functions, and sectoral profile. It also facilitates access to information and services related to the sustainable management and utilization of Ghana’s lands, forests, wildlife, and mineral resources.
  3. User Obligations and Conduct:
    You agree to use the MLNR website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of this site by, any third party. Specifically, you agree not to:
    • Misuse the Website: Engage in any conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or that interferes with the proper functioning of the website.
    • Unauthorised Access: Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its servers, or any connected computer systems or networks. The Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038) explicitly prohibits unauthorized access to computer systems or networks designated as critical information infrastructure.
    • Introduce Malicious Software: Knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
    • Data Misuse: Collect or store personal data about other users without their express consent and in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
    • Impersonation: Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
    • Intellectual Property Infringement: Use any content from the website in a manner that infringes on the intellectual property rights of MLNR or third parties.
    • Sexual Offenses: Engage in or attempt to engage in any online sexual offenses involving children or non-consensual sharing of intimate images, as explicitly prohibited by the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038). This includes taking/producing indecent images of a child, dealing with a child for sexual abuse, cyberstalking a child, sexual extortion, and non-consensual sharing of intimate images. Such acts are severe offenses under Ghanaian law.

    All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of MLNR or its content suppliers and is protected by Ghanaian and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of MLNR.
    You may access, download, and print materials from this website for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content and retain all copyright and proprietary notices. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance, without the prior written permission of MLNR, is strictly prohibited.
