On Monday 10 November 2025 at about 1806hrs, Galamsey Kinpin, IDDRISU ZAKARI, also known as YAAYAA, known for involvement in illegal mining activities within the Osino Residential Area, was arrested at Bonsu after agreeing to meet with operatives from NAIMOS to negotiate the release of his thugs arrested and possible halt of ongoing investigation about his activities.

It could be recalled that NAIMOS recently carried out a raid at Zakari’s galamsey site, on the night of Friday 7 November 2025 during which 32 Nigerien nationals and 4 Ghanaian machete wielding guards were apprehended.
