Officials from the CTK Network have made a presentation today on Ghana’s quest to make Land Administration in Ghana efficient and effective.
The CTK Team said they are determined to help the Ministry and Government establish automated land administration systems that provide a holistic, well functioning land market, up-to-date base maps,certainty of title and ease of land titling.
Speaking at a meeting with the Deputy Minister in charge of Lands, Hon. Benito Owusu-Bio and some officials from the Lands Commission, Managing Director of the company, Captain Tei Azu explained that if his company is embraced by the Ministry, it will be able to map the entire country holistically, provide maps for Engineering services, Local Government and Lands Commission.
The Hon. Deputy Minister, Benito Owusu- Bio was hopeful that the efforts being put in place by Government to digitize Land administration will soon yield positive results and tasked the Ministry and Lands Commission Technical Team to urgently study the proposal from the CTK Team and advise the sector Minister accordingly.
The Company says the digitization of the Ghanaian economy is one of the most critical interventions of the current generation. Therefore, the digitization of the operations of the Lands Commission is inevitable.
